Art Basel Paris 2025

Paris is the centre of the global art world this week! Our next cultural immersion event will focus on the French capital, as this week marks the highly anticipated 2025 edition of Art Basel Paris. The event has propelled the City of Light to the forefront of contemporary art, attracting collectors, curators and art enthusiasts from around the globe.

This edition features over 206 galleries from 41 countries. While the exhibition primarily showcases contemporary art, the Premise section is being presented for the second consecutive year, exploring other time periods through unconventional curatorial approaches and exhibiting works from before the 20th century. Similarly, ‘Oh La La!’ returns to Art Basel Paris 2025 as a creative space within the gallery stands.

As part of its Public Programme, Art Basel will deploy various installations by artists such as Helen Marten at the Palais d’Iéna, Arlene Shechet and Thomas Houseago on Avenue Winston Churchill, and Ugo Rondinone at the Institut de France throughout key locations in the city. These installations will generate dialogue between urban space, local history and contemporary art.

This approach reinforces the vision of the fair as a living space that not only exhibits art, but also promotes encounters, reflections and dialogues between artists, thinkers and the public, reminding us why Paris is positioned as a key player in the cultural world. We invite you to take a short stroll through the fair with this article!
