A positive, efficient and human digital experience I discovered the Artistics website when I bought a photo for a gift. The site is extremely rich in information on each of the artists, enabling us to understand their artistic approach. In particular, the video presentation of the artist in his or her world adds a really interesting human dimension. The aim is to showcase artists with very specific technical requirements. Professional and personable I discovered Artistics after seeing an article about a French artist (Romain Langlois) online. I sent Artistics an email to find out about the piece I saw, and they returned my email very quickly. We exchanged several emails in which they provided me with all the information about the art, artist, and how a transaction would be handled – and then set up a live phone call to discuss the entire transaction. All of my questions and concerns were answered, and I felt I was dealing with a reputable organization, so I decided to order the piece I was interested in, as well as another two that I came to love after learning more about the artist, and seeing more images of his art. All the packaging and shipping was arranged by Artistics via a professional, internationally respected, dedicated art shipping company. The pieces I ordered were very large, and very heavy – and everything was crated and packed safely and securely, and shipped from France to Canada in a very efficient, and, frankly, fast, manner. I told them there was no rush, yet, everything arrived sooner than I thought – I was very surprised. The payments were done by wire, and even when my bank made a mistake, thereby delaying payment, Artistics was very understanding, notified me of the error, and allowed me to correct the issue with no hard feelings.
