The icy blue of a landscape hovering at the edge of reality, the dense blue of a surface that seems to hold light within it, an electric blue cut through with deep blacks, a pale blue dissolving into near-ether. From one work to the next, the colour shifts in temperature, weight, rhythm and texture. Each opens its own space, moving between physical presence and optical illusion, between rigorous construction and fleeting apparition.
