SNJÓR : Icelandic winter by Christophe Jacrot
Christophe Jacrot‘s most recent photo series stems from a question : Is it still possible today to photograph Europe in the winter… one which looks like winter? This quest led the photographer to Iceland, on six trips between 2014 and mid 2016. SNJÓR (Icelandic for ‘snow’) is the result of these winter immersions in the “land of ice”. It’s at once a photo series (of which limited edition prints are available on Artistics.com) an exhibition and a book!
