Sharon Brill: Motion sculptures in ceramics.

For over ten years ceramic artist, Sharon Brill has from her art studio in Eilat, Israel, been creating a unique collection of artworks in porcelain or clay. Always in immaculate white, her abstract sculptures with organic shapes bear witness to her fascination for nature in perpetual motion: the sea, wind, telluric forces…

Their surfaces draw in the viewer’s gaze into a constant back and forth between the inside and outside, the visible and invisible. Absorbed by this movement, the onlooker is invited to introspection. In her latest series: ‘Cube’, Sharon Brill takes geometric figures and distorts them. This seemingly messy movement is in contrast with the straight lines and creates a rich dialogue between order and chaos.
