Painting is one of the most important art type in the history of art, and the invention of perspective in the 15th century marks a turning point in the history of figurative painting. Artistics paintings
Artistics, the online contemporary art gallery, would like to invite you to an escape in contemplating the world through the works of fifty contemporary artists. Everyone exercises their style with great technical mastery and a lot of originality. Sculpture, photography and painting are the three mediums favoured by the artists we support at Artistics and it provides them with great creative freedom. Amongst them, about ten specialize in figurative painting: urban or natural landscape painting, portrait and figure painting, wildlife painting... Reality is an inexhaustible source of inspiration!
Our figurative painting artists
Figurative painting produces images where the artist’s personality acts as a filter. Guillaume Chansarel produces paintings with hyper realistic views of major cities (New York, Paris, Hong Kong, etc.), while Calo Carratala recreates landscapes of the Peruvian Amazon full of nostalgia. Emanuel Schulze applies the Albertian perspective rules to his figurative canvas paintings, creating a paradoxical, familiar and unknown world. He simplifies forms right up to the limits of abstract painting, an exercise in which Ramon Enrich also engages, in a completely new way. The latter creates colourful imaginary spaces with a surprising atmosphere.
