Born to be wild. The artists compiled here explore that part of the living world that is beyond control, namely that of the wild animal, which our myths and tales constantly evoke to express power, ferocity, freedom and raw instinct. This includes man himself – that figure of the savage that sometimes emerges from the margins of our civilised society and grips us with horror. This double mirror questions our ambivalent relationship with that which, both within us and beyond us, still resists order.
