Inspiration: Living Water

In this collection, water presents movement and silence, speed and stillness, crystal clarity or disturbing opacity. On the surface, it reflects the world; in its depths, it absorbs it. These works are as much about seeing as they are about feeling: they evoke the tumult of our lives, our subterranean energies, our zones of calm or flood. Through the specific rhythm of each representation – fluid or tense, calm or impetuous – a symbolic visual language emerges that is capable of touching the most intimate part of each and every one of us. Because the flowing water also flows through us, and its presence invites introspection.
