Brow is a painting by Spanish contemporary artist Ramon Enrich. 

In these paintings, the artist establishes a conversation between architecture and landscape in a figurative work boasting geometric shapes and an enigmatic atmosphere. The landscapes and the simplicity of the forms (near abstract) make for a very theatrical view of architecture. 

Losing yourself in these enigmatic landscapes, Ramon Enrich takes you on a journey that's more psychological than physical, trying, to use his words, " to let something hidden be seen, allowing inexplicable connections." 

Among the artist's production this painting is part of a series boasting aerial perspectives, landscapes filling the canvas with no horizon. On the ground a criss-cross pattern evoking a Roman grid with its straight lines which cross at right angles. About this, the artist says " this grid, this network sets the tone for building above it. Having mapped it out I position the different volumes, the objects, like a choreographer : Constructions, water pools, vegetation…" 

The constructions comprised of one single building occupy the centre of the compositions surrounded by round or conical forms of vegetation. Each building has only one opening, narrow and shaded, somewhat similar to ancient temples. The landscapes are lit by a setting sun creating wide shadows, elongating the scene. The range of colours is confined to earthy tones with the occasional blue-green of a pond. In the midst of this rigid set-up, the artist capitalizes on accidents : rubbing and paint dripping which give the ground a certain texture.
