About the work :

Triple Loops is a painting by contemporary French artist Guillaume Chansarel.

New York is one of Guillaume Chansarel's major inspirations. The city, which graphic landscapes offer unlimited creative possibilities, is the object of the artist's paintings. Guillaume Chansarel's style is interesting, for it often looks like photography. The work around the perspective as well as the geometric forms assure the painting its realism. In this painting, the verticality of New York’s skyscrapers is enhanced by the format of the canvas and by the aerial perspective chosen by the artist.

Megacities are the artist's favorite subject. Through his paintings, Guillaume Chansarel attempts to capture the city's graphic identity, as a photographer would press the shutter button on his camera. The uniqueness of the artist's work lies in the realistic aspect of his work but also on the original use of an innovative support : pages of print from antique books onto which he draws and then paints, and consequently which tells a completely new story.

The artwork is signed, sold unframed with a certificate of authenticity.
